MMA flooring, fast-curing, durable, and chemical-resistant resin floor systems ideal for industrial, commercial, and high-traffic environments.

Resin Type: Methyl Methacrylate (MMA)
Curing Time: 2 to 3 hours (full cure)
Temperature Tolerance: Installation down to -25 °C
Compressive Strength: Approx. 60 to 90 MPa
Slip Resistance: R9 or R13, depending on finish.
Chemical Resistance: Excellent (acids, alkalis, solvents, oils).
Thickness Range: 2 mm to 9 mm, depending on system and usage
VOC Content: High, requires adequate ventilation during installation

MMA has its place in flooring and we find that some situations are ideal for its use. Costing more than standard epoxy and the odour given off during curing are the main disadvantages of it being used.

We use it on steel structures like external staircases to create profiled finishes enhancing grip and improving slip resistance. Cold store repairs are another ideal environment for their use.

Both screed and coating systems are available and by incorporating various materials like quartz or coloured flakes & aggregates a number of options of finish are available.
