We have recently completed the installation of a Polyurethane Self Smooth screed at our long term confectionery client. They have recently made alterations to there factory and have installed need Link corridors.
We began by preparing the concrete subfloor, using our industrial floor grinders to remove any contaminants from the surface and to ensure the correct surface key was achieved. Anchor cuts where made around all the edges, man hole covers and expansion joints and two coats of Clear DPM Primer where applied to ensure that the surface was sealed to prevent bubbling of the screed. We then installed a trowel applied 3mm self smooth screed (Colour Bondi), and finally all expansion joints where cut and filled using Jointing compound.
